2016 - 2017

The Woodland Marching Band was honored as Grand Champions at the Legacy of Champions Marching Competitions on October 8 in Carrollton, Georgia. The band was also awarded Grand Champions at the Greater Atlanta Marching Festival at Rockdale County High School. The band was also awarded 2nd Overall at the Eagles Nest Invitational at Collins Hill High School.
2015-2016
The Woodland Marching Band performed their halftime show entitled, "The Heist" at 10 football games and 4 festivals and competitions. The band was awarded Grand Champions at two competitions and 2nd place overall at another. Color guard, percussion, and drum majors were also recognized with first place finishes at multiple events throughout the season.
In January, the Woodland Wind Symphony was featured as a performing band at the GMEA In Service Conference in Athens, Georgia where the band premiered two pieces and featured many of its very own alumni in performance. In March, all three of the program's concert bands were recognized with superior performance ratings at LGPE with two superior ratings in sight reading and an excellent rating. |

2014-2015

The Woodland Wildcat Marching Band performed their 2014 halftime show entitled "300: The Last Stand." The band won three Grand Championships: at Milton High School's White Column Invitational, at the Blue Ridge Marching Festival at Fannin County High School, and at the Georgia Invitational Band Championship at Hiram High School. The color guard, percussion, and drum majors also won top honors throughout the competitive season.
On November 30th, 2014, the Wildcat Marching Band performed in the Hollywood Christmas Parade in Los Angeles, California. The parade performance was bookended by trips to Disneyland and California Adventures, a trip to the Santa Monica Pier, tours of Hollywood by foot and by bus, and a movie screening at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre. |
2013-2014
The Woodland Band Program was selected as a National Finalist and Regional Winner of the National Band Association (NBA) Program of Excellence Blue Ribbon Award
The Woodland Wind Symphony performed as a featured ensemble at the University of Alabama High School Honor Band Festival in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in February, 2014. The Wildcat Marching Band was crowned overall Grand Champion at the 2013 River Ridge Tournament of Champions and the 2013 Creekview Classic. Also, the Marching Band placed 2nd overall at the Greater Atlanta Marching Festival in Conyers, Georgia. |

The Woodland Wind Symphony was selected as a featured ensemble to perform at the University of Georgia January Band Festival in Athens, Georgia.
The Wildcat Marching Band performed in the Macy*s Holiday Parade at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. |

2011 - 2012
|
The Woodland Jazz Band competed in the Atlanta Jazz Festival Youth Competition and won 2nd place overall. They won $500 and performed in Atlanta's Piedmont Park during the 2012 Atlanta Jazz Festival.
The entire Woodland Band program was award the GMEA Exemplary Performance Award which recognizes excellence in Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and all other facets of the Woodland Band Program. |
2010-2011

The Wildcat Marching Band performed in the 2011 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington, DC.
The Woodland Wind Symphony performed as a featured ensemble at the 2011 GMEA In-Service Conference in Savannah, Georgia. The Wildcat Marching Band won 2 Grand Championships at the Georgia Invitational Band Championship and the Creekview Classic. Also, the marching band performed at the first ever Georgia State University football game as a guest band. |
